Installing the Curate Sales Channel and creating a Store Page is free. Once your store is approved to sell on Curate, your products will be published to your Curate Store Page, ready for customers to purchase.
When a customer purchases one of your products through Curate, a commission fee of 12% of the item amount only (excluding shipping) is charged when the order is fulfilled. There is no commission charged on shipping costs.
Commission is charged on all orders made through Curate, regardless of any returns or refunds that are made after the transaction is complete. Even if an item is returned, there is still inherent value to the transaction because you receive the customer's details and can remarket to the customer in future.
Any fees incurred appear on your Shopify Account invoice, which is sent to the Shopify Account owner each month. To view your Shopify Account invoices, visit the Account page of your Shopify administration console.
The Commission Fee is calculated on the total sale amount (excluding shipping and taxes) and is converted from New Zealand Dollars (NZD) to US Dollars (USD) at the exchange rate at the time that the charge is created.
Commission Fees are paid in arrears and will be billed in 30 day intervals. You will be charged on each billing date for the total of all outstanding commission fees that have not previously been charged to a maximum of $1,000.00 USD per month. All fees are inclusive of GST.
